Originally from Southern California, Kevin Wang is a Sophomore studying Mathematical Business and Computer Science at Wake Forest. He is the Treasurer for the Wake Forest University Chapter of the Roosevelt Institute. His major policy interests revolve around the potential efficacy of cyrpto-currency, namely Bitcoin, and micro-finance. In 2012, his extensive work with the Chinese based micro-finance firm CreditEase piqued his initial interest in global economic development, igniting his passion to help reduce barriers currently impeding monetary circulation and stimulation in developing economies through policy innovation and enhancement. His immediate goals for Wake's economic development policy center constitute publication in Roosevelt's 10 Ideas Series as well as policy center expansion. Feel free to contact him if you are interested!
